Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 small cabbage or 1 small cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran (for Dukan Diet) or 4 tablespoons flour (for a regular diet)
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 onion
  • Parsley
  • Salt and spices to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the vegetables:
    • Grate the cabbage on a coarse grater, then lightly squeeze it with your hands.
    • Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
    • Finely chop the onion.
  2. Combine the ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the grated cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped onion.
    • Add the eggs, oat bran (or flour), spices, and salt.
    • Mix well and let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the oat bran to absorb moisture.
  3. Form the patties:
    • Shape the mixture into small patties with your hands.
  4. Cook the patties:
    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Lightly grease the skillet with a small amount of oil, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel.
    • Place the patties in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
    • Cover the skillet with a lid while cooking to ensure the patties cook through.
  5. Serve and enjoy:
    • Serve the cabbage patties hot or cold.
