Let’s clear this up ?
.
Having no food rules IS healthy. If you work towards true intuitive eating then you end up with a wider range of nutrients in your diet. You regulate your intake of energy effortlessly (no counting anything! ?) and you’re actually likely to have improved lab values for things like lipids (fat in your blood) and reduce cardiovascular disease risk. Fab, huh?
.
The issue is… most people start the intuitive eating journey but don’t finish it.? They allow themselves to eat all of the cookies, teh cakes, the pizza but then… never get around to tying nutrition into the mix again.

❌MAJOR PARTY FOUL.❌
.
Intuitive eating without ever thinking of gentle nutrition isn’t intuitive eating.?‍♀️It’s just rebelling against diet culture. And that’s really not what you want to do. In that case diet culture is still dictating your choices, you’re just doing the opposite of what it tells you, but it’s still telling you!
.
It’s time to take the nutrition power back from diet culture. You have nutrition permission on your intuitive eating journey. I encourage it! But it isn’t always easy. It might feel like you’re free falling into an abyss of nutrition info or that you’ll undo all of your food freedom progress. Yeah, I felt the same.
.
It was a struggle for me to figure out how to find “balance” between the two, and that sucked. So Imma make it suck a little (ok a lot) less for you by giving you the exact 5 steps I took to *finally* get there! To get to the place where I am now that I’ve been called the ?Queen? of non-diet gentle nutrition ❤️ A name I’ll gladly take!
.
Next Tuesday I’m hosting a free masterclass on how to implement gentle nutrition to feel better in your body (Hello more energy!) without it feeling even a teensy bit diet-y! Link in bio to save your space!
