spaghetti squash, marinara and turkey

Easy, tasty meal prep for the week! ? This simple combination I made won’t let you down. Mix the spaghetti squash, marinara and turkey all together and you got yourself delicious combo. Recipe below:

Makes 3 servings (can double for 6 servings)
What you need:
12oz ground turkey
1/4-1/2 red onion (optional)
3 cloves garlic (optional)
1/2 spaghetti squash
1/2-1 cauliflower head
1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Sea salt & pepper

For the spaghetti squash:
Preheat oven to 400F.
Cut in half and scoop on the seeds.
Spray with olive oil & add some sea salt & pepper
Place face down and bake for 45-50 min or soft on the inside
Use fork to scrape out the spaghetti

For the turkey:
Add 1 tsp of olive oil to a medium skillet
Add the onion and heat for a few minutes
Add the ground turkey, garlic & sea salt
Flip using a spatula to break up the big chunks and cook until no longer pink on the inside
.
For the cauliflower:
Cut into small pieces
Heat water in a pot on a stove with a steamer basket inside
Place cut cauliflower in the steamer basket and cover the lid
Cook until soft. .
Combine all in a meal prep container & add marinara sauce! Enjoy up to 5 days and freeze the last few days if you like it fresher
