While I don’t count calories or macros (nor do I encourage others to do so) I do make small choices like those pictured across my day to save on calories.

• Milk. Choosing a low fat milk will save you calories. However if you find fat milk more satisfying then full fat may be a better option for you if it means you snack less later. I personally don’t find it makes a difference so I opt for low fat.

• Muesli. Breakfast cereal portions can be a calorie trap. Balance your breakfast by making 50% of your bowl fruit.
