Pineapple Passion Fruit Green Smoothie
Tropical vibes heading your way with this nutrient rich homemade treat from the islands! I love adding a handful of baby spinach to all of my fruit smoothies, because you really can’t taste the spinach…so it’s a fun way to pump up those daily greens! ?
makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1 ripe fresh or frozen banana, peeled (i prefer to use frozen bananas for smoothies)
1 lime, juiced
3 passion fruit, flesh only
one large handful of baby spinach
2 cups icy cold unsweetened coconut milk, or water
3 ice cubes
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients into a high speed blender.
Blend until completely smooth.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate and serve within 1 day.
I like to blend it up again and add an ice cube or two if I’m drinking it later on.
