?Bloating is when your belly feels swollen or enlarged after eating and is usually caused by gas or other digestive distress.

?Studies show that 15-30% of individuals deal with bloating on a regular basis.

?While bloating can sometime be a sign of a serious medical condition, the majority of the time it is just our body’s way of telling us that it doesn’t agree with our food choices.

?Certain foods like: beer, dairy, frozen meals, diet sodas, broccoli, & gum are common culprits. By cutting these foods out, we can eliminate, or at least, lessen the effects of bloating.

?On the opposite side of the spectrum there are a handful of foods that are very helpful to our digestive system. These foods are likely to aid in proper digestion. These foods include: bananas, cucumbers, watermelon, papaya, ginger and peppermint.

?If something you are eating is causing you digestive discomfort, then you owe it to yourself to experiment and discover which foods are responsible. Eliminate those foods, feel better and move forward on your journey to become the best version of yourself ??.
