Yes, food is fuel and overconsumption of food is not necessarily the best thing for you, but having a restrictive mindset towards food is not healthy either. Having balance can be hard but it takes SO much stress and worry around food out of the equation. Food is meant to be one of the greatest pleasures in life – so don’t feel like you can’t indulge when you feel it’s appropriate.


Just remember: 20 minutes on the treadmill does not equal a cookie after dinner.
You don’t have to hit the gym so you can have that slice of cake.


You don’t have to justify your food choices to yourself.
