Sometimes I eat brown noodles, other times I eat white noodles. Yes, brown noodles may be more nutritious, but sometimes cravings dictate otherwise and that is OK! The way you eat is not a competition, you don’t have to be perfect. Quite frankly perfection does not exist. What is most important is that you’re making more healthful choices majority of the time.

I’m very aware that I don’t need to explain myself, but every so often I get a disapproving comment… it’s either my choice of grain doesn’t live up to expectation or the size of my meal is too large. Of course I welcome every type of comment and you’re always welcome to state your opinion. But please understand that I eat to nourish myself and make me happy. I may not live up to your perfect standards, but what’s why I’m me and you’re you. This is not a rant at all ? I’m just saying this to let you know that you don’t have to be perfect, just do the best you can and when you can do better do so?

In my bowl: rice noodles with vegetables in teriyaki sauce. Most of the sauce is at the bottom of the bowl ?

PS I know I’m very behind with responding to comments, but I’m on it. I can only do them slowly or else Instagram stops me from commenting completely ?
