TACO TUESDAY with HOMEMADE GRAIN-FREE TORTILLAS!! Heck freaking yes! I’ve honestly never attempted making my own tortillas, so the fact that my first attempt was a HUGE success felt amazing! They were so easy, and only required FOUR ingredients! They hold together sooooo well, just like a flour tortillas would! I used @ottos_cassava_flour to make them, and as much as I LOVE Siete Foods tortillas, the price tag on these were so worth it. And they only took like 10 minutes to make! Cassava flour is easier to digest than tapioca, which comes from the cassava root. Why? Because this flour is made from the entire root and is not processed or bleached. It is superb nutritious and works well in recipes! I will be posting this recipe on the blog. I filled two of these babies up with grilled chicken, @organicgirl arugula, red cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, quick pickled onions (recipe will also be on the blog-they took 5 minutes!), julienned kabocha squash, cilantro and chipotle-lime-yogurt sauce (recipe in my feed and on the blog all ready) using @heatandflavor chipotle sauce and @foragerproject cashew milk yogurt!
