Do you ever have days where you’re just HUNGRIER!? ???

I do! It used to make me SO frustrated.? I mean, sometimes I could point to a reason like an extra tough workout, not eating as much they day before or hello ? Auntie Flo coming to down (i.e. period hunger!) but other times? I couldn’t! And I’d be so confused! Can you relate?

Here is the deal, gorgeous… some days? Ya might just be hungrier! ?‍♀️And there might not be a reason to point to! Your body is doing some amazing things to keep you alive, it could be fighting off an illness you can’t yet see or feel ?, or maybe your muscles are still recovering from some movement?️‍♀️! It’s okay and TOTALLY normal to feel hungrier on some days.

My advice for those days?? Honor it. We can’t really put arbitrary caps on our food intake. Why? If we don’t give our bodies the energy we need we likely end up swinging from one extreme (hangry) to the other (overly full and stuffed). Avoiding hunger is just setting yourself to take a ride on the restrict-binge merry-go-round that… let’s be honest… is NOT enjoyable. (plus.. Ya girl gets some serious motion sickness!?)

Honoring your hunger and giving your body enough overall energy is step #1 of what I teach in @the_socieaty. It’s important to first heal your biological need for food, get hunger and fullness cues and learn how to understand them before focusing on breaking your food rules like eating the donuts, cookies, cakes, etc. You can eat all of the donuts ? in the world in an effort to make peace with them but if you’re not healing your biological needs you’re probs not going to find the freedom you’re looking for (actually breaking food rules is step # ✌️!)
