Following your question @natty_donohue ?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Calorie deficit (burning more calories that you consume) is the NUMBER ONE when it comes to weight/fat loss. HOW many calories depends on MANY factors including your age, gender, activity level
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The are MANY ways you can achieve this including
– General calorie reduction
– Counting Macros (#iifym)
– Intermittent Fasting
– Lower Carb
– Calorie Counting
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have intentionally left out many FAD diets. If you have any questions about these please ask ??
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So HOW you do this is individual. Factor that need to be considered include hunger levels, activity levels, lifestyle, work type and schedule, financial requirements, food allergies or intolerances, medical situation and cultural and ethical dietary factors.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With so many factors, finding the right diet that can be maintained CONSISTENTLY for you is understandably confusing.. it’s a Dietitian’s job to help you sort through all of this and find the best option for you.

Well folks, let me tell you about a trend that’s been sweeping the nation – the rise of plant-based burgers. I don’t know about you, but I never thought I’d see the day when a burger made from plants could compete with the real deal.
But here we are, with companies like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods creating burgers that look, taste, and even bleed like beef. It’s enough to make you do a double take at the BBQ.
Now, I’ll admit I was a skeptic at first. How could a veggie patty possibly satisfy my carnivorous cravings? But after trying one of these plant-based wonders, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The texture was spot on, the flavor was delicious, and I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything.
So the next time you’re grilling up some burgers, why not give a plant-based option a try? Who knows, you might just be converted like I was. And hey, it’s a good excuse to eat more veggies, right?
