Last week on my usual Wed…

Holy CATS you guys had somethin’ to say about this ?
.
Last week on my usual Wednesday full day of eating (every week in my stories!) I showed how I had a bar as a snack and then… another snack because I was still hungry.
.
The response was? bAnAnAs? (Like, whole banana level- not that half of one diet culture bullsh*t). I kept hearing “Thank you! I feel so wrong when I have a snack with a snack.”
.
Totes not wrong, gorgeous. ❤️
.
But I’ve been there. I used to feel guilty on those hungrier days when a bar just wouldn’t fit the bill for snack time. It was like unless I had pre-portioned, pre-packaged snacks to “tell me” how hungry I “should” be… I was lost…. can you relate?!
.
If you follow me there is a good chance you’ve heard the phrase “listen to your body” when it comes to what and how much you eat. (If you don’t follow me: Hi! I’m Colleen. Your new non-diet Registered Dietitian BFF- be sure to follow!)
.
And while “just listen to your body” SOUNDS like good advice…if you’ve been dieting and follow food rules for goodness knows how long it doesn’t really make sense to you. ?  Yet.

And while you’re SUPER intrigued by intuitive eating…you’re still a little scared of what would happen if you gave up control. (Or what DID happen last time you tried.)
.
You, my dear, need to learn how to get those hunger and fullness cues back…And understand why doing that is the MOST IMPORTANT STEP to nailing this whole intuitive eating thang!
.
Which is EXACTLY what I’m here to show you how to do. Tomorrow!
