Do some foods have different nutritional value??? Abso-freakin-lutely.

Foods that are typically deemed “healthy” may have more micronutrients in there, some fiber to help elongate blood sugar and energy, etc. But when we wind up binge-eating the fruit loops ?because we restricted them and raising our stress hormone, cortisol levels, due to the restriction is that really “healthy”? I’d say a firm no.?♀️

Nutrition IS important. Even though I’m an intuitive eating, food freedom dietitian I do believe in the importance of nutrition. But I don’t believe in the all-or-nothing mindset. I don’t believe in fear mongering. I don’t believe in food guilt, stress or anxiety.
