Both of these options are absolutely OK. It’s time to get rid of bogus diet culture standards of being as “clean” and “simple” as possible.❌

You CAN add cheese to make veggies more delish! ?You’re still going to get lots of nutrients from the broccoli, it doesn’t negate it.

If you struggle with eating veggies or feel burnt out on them from dieting try exploring new ways to enjoy them.➡️ Add sauces, seasonings, or try roasting or air frying them (brings out the BEST sweetness!)

Living without food rules doesn’t mean you don’t care about nutrition and getting veggies in. You guys know I ❤️ me some gentle nutrition! What it means is that you don’t stress over them like you once did and you find satisfying ways to eat them that you ENJOY so you actually want to get those veggies in! All of this while also being absolutely fine diving into the cheesecake bars that are currently sitting in my fridge ?

As cheesy (?hehe) as the saying of “balance” is, that truly is what it is like being an intuitive eater. Except becomes easy and intuitive and not something you have to strive for. Cool, huh?
