Crock-pot Homemade Cider??
{Add these ingredients to your slow cooker on a day you want your home to smell like Autumn.
This one is pure Fall #SoulFood
Makes about 8 servings
Ingredients:
10 cups water
4-5 large apples, cut in quarters
2 fresh pears, sliced
2 fresh oranges, sliced or quartered
2 cinnamon sticks
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 anise stars
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup maple syrup or raw honey
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate, seeds only
1 fresh lemon or lime, sliced
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in the bowl of your slow cooker.
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for about 4 hours.
Once cooked, pour the liquid through a fine strainer to remove spices and fruit pieces.
Garnish with fresh fruit (like orange and apple slices and pomegranate seeds) and serve warm.
