? The amount of sleep varies with age but seems to remain relatively close to one another later in life. The most sleep is required for newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Their sleep range is about 10-17 hours. Once we get up to school age and teenagers, we still require more sleep at about 8-11 hours. This is mainly because all of the changes and growth our body goes through. Once we become young adults, sleep stays pretty consistent all the way to the 65+ range (About 7-9 hours).

? This information came directly from the national sleep foundation. CEO David Cloud said, “Sleep Recommendations will help individuals make sleep schedules that are within a healthy range. They also serve as a useful starting point for individuals to discuss their sleep with their healthcare providers.”
