Caesar Salad for Meatless Monday: Is it truly meatless?
Hey there, today I whipped up a delicious Caesar salad for Meatless Monday and I’m not entirely sure if it counts as meatless, but it was definitely amazing! This isn’t your typical Caesar salad – it’s dairy free and paleo, but trust me, it’s absolutely delicious! I shared the recipe for this dressing on my blog a while back, and this time I used Forager Project cashew milk yogurt for that creamy touch.
Here’s what went into this scrumptious salad: romaine lettuce, juicy tomatoes, roasted kabocha squash, crunchy cucumber, red onion, Know Foods paleo croutons, fresh parsley, and succulent wild caught shrimp from Zaycon Fresh. Speaking of Zaycon Fresh, let me tell you a bit about them – they offer natural, clean proteins at great prices in bulk, and they travel all over the country to deliver their products. Along with the wild caught shrimp you see here, they also have wild salmon, hormone-free chicken, and other meats available. If you’re interested in checking them out, you can visit their website at https://www.zayconfresh.com/refer/starinfinitefood.
I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and enjoy this delicious salad!
