Celebrating Take-Out Thursday with HOMEMADE ORANGE CHICKEN (Take-out Thursday is a thing right? ?) This sauce is so bomb! Just a few ingredients and super easy to make. I have used this with shrimp and tofu and both were delicious ? This meal could easily be paleo if you sub the rice with veggie rice! I wanted the real deal though ?♀️ Because, jasmine rice is delicious ? I totally drizzled done more sauce on that rice ? The recipe makes about 2/3 cup so double or triple if you want more. Served this up with some steamed broccolini, steamed jasmine rice and avocado. Are you a fan of homemade takeout? What is your favorite to make? Deets: @butcher_box chicken simply seasoned with salt and pepper and roasted on 350 for about 25 mins (depending on thickness), then remove, let it rest for about 10 minutes. Cut up and smother in the sauce. SAUCE: 1 cup orange juice, 1 tablespoon @bragglivefoodproducts coconut aminos, 1 tablespoon liquid aminos or tamari soy sauce, 2 tablespoon organic ketchup (I used @goodfoodforgood, 2 garlic cloves minced, 1 tablespoon tapioca starch mixed with 1 tablespoon water to dissolve, 1/2 tablespoon honey. Whisk ingredients together and bring to a boil, then turn heat down to low and whisk for another 2 minutes before removing from heat. •
