I keep getting emails and messages from some of you asking what I flavour my vegetables with. I don’t feel the need to flavour my vegetables with anything. I’m happy eating them plain because they have a flavour of their own. I stopped cooking with salt a few years ago so my tastebuds have adapted. I usually cook my grains plain too, but of course I cook stews and curries with herbs and spices. If I really feel like adding flavour to vegetables or grains, I cook them in vegetable stock/broth.
