I love raw spinach, but apparently it spinach and some other raw vegetables contains compounds called oxalates that can inhibit calcium absorption.

Cooking tends to reduce the amount of oxalates in them, so I try to eat cooked spinach more often than raw spinach these days.

In my bowl today is black rice, ?, wilted spinach, and harricot bean stew. These beans were very delish! It’s a new recipe so I’ll share it as soon as I’ve shared the other recipes I made before this one ?
