If you watch my stories at all, you’ll know that on Tuesday I went to get some blood work done. I’ve been eating a plant-based vegan diet for over 27 months now and I thought it was time to check my nutritional status.
I have admitted several times that I’m not very consistent with taking supplements. The only thing I’m consistent with is eating whole foods. And I think you’ll agree with me that my feed is a testament to that 😊.
Well I got my results back today and I’m incredibly happy to say that everything came back perfect 💃🏾 It gives me even more confidence with advising the clients I currently work with so I’m super stoked!
🌟Regardless of how well you’re eating, I think it’s a good idea to check your levels of vitamins and minerals at least once a year to make sure your diet is providing what you need. Sometimes you may be eating really well but your body may be have a hard time absorbing nutrients from your food so you could still be falling short of certain things without realising💫

I don’t know how hot it is where you are, but I can see a lot of salads in my future! I made a pasta salad today with chickpeas, salad leaves, cherry 🍅, edamame, peas, mixed toasted seeds and basil. I dressed it all up in my go-to dressing of soy yoghurt, sriracha, sweet chilli sauce and garlic powder. This dressing seems to go with almost everything so I really adore it. If you want to give it go the recipe is this:
3 tbsp soy yoghurt
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
¼ tsp garlic powder
Combine everything in a small bowl and you have yourself a creamy delicious dressing.
I literally use this with everything and it hasn’t failed so far. If you try it, let me know your thoughts 😊
