?Pesto Hummus on Homemade Seed Crackers? Decided to combine pesto and hummus and it totally works…is it strange that I’m so excited by this??? Probably. .
?Pesto Hummus Recipe.
Process 2c cooked garbanzos, 1/4c olive oil, juice 1 lemon, 1/4c pine nuts, 1/4 cup packed chopped basil leaves, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 tsp chili powder. Topped with carrot microgreens and whole garbanzos.
?Seed cracker recipe is not mine. I’ve seen it a lot on IG but not sure where it originated. ?Process 1/2c pumpkin seeds until course powder. Transfer to a large bowl with 1c ground flax meal, 1/2c sesame seeds, 1/4c chia seeds, 1 1/4c water, 1 tsp salt. Add your favorite herbs/spices, garlic powder, whatever you feel like really.? Mix until gel-like. Divide into two equal batches. Roll each batch between 2 large pieces parchment until desired thinness. Transfer on bottom parchment onto two baking sheets. Bake at 200F for about 2 hours until dehydrated. Rotate sheets after one hour.
