🌱Quinoa Spelt Breakfast Loaf🌱
Good morning lovelies😊. This loaf is made with cooked whole quinoa giving it a moist & scrumptious texture. I also managed to get my homemade spiced date syrup in again! (This stuff is coming in handy.) Tip: I usually mix all the dry ingredients at night so only have to turn on oven and add wet ingredients in the morning.
🙏🏼Lots of dishes to wash this morning! Using it as a practice in mindfulness.
🌱Recipe
Mix dry ingredients: 3.5c spelt flour, 1/2c sunflower seeds, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1.5 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt. Mix in wet ingredients: 2 tbsp date syrup/maple, 1c cooked quinoa, 2c plant milk. Mix wet and dry. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 about 50 minutes/until clean toothpick. Serve with homemade chia jam.
