Small changes can make big differences! ?? #tb to this post I did 1 year ago (french fries lover here). As you can see in the picture you can lower the calories 3 times just by changing the method of cooking. Deep-fried french fries are submerged in oil, they soak up more of the oil than the oven-baked version. Therefore it becoes high in fats and calories.

If you know me personally, you know that I’m a big french frieslover!! So I had to find a solution to still have this in my life on a more regular basis without all the extra calories and fats. When you do want to have fries for dinner try the recipe below?? I promise you it’s as tasty as the classic french fries but lower in calories and fat. Win-win! ?? and I reaaaaaally think oven-baked french fries are just as tasty as deep-fried ones.

However I don’t think you should avoid regular french fries completely. Every now and then is ok when keeping ‘Balance, moderation and variety’ in mind. Because I still enjoy my regular (deep-fried) french fries as well every now and then. ???

? Recipe ovenbaked fries: preheat oven to 200°C. Wash potatoes well, then pat dry and cut into fries. Add to a big bowl together with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and spices to your preferences. Toss well. Transfer to a baking tray lined with baking paper, spread them and bake for 40 minutes in the middle of the oven. Comment with ? if you’re a french fries lover.! –
