👌🏼Not restriction. Not “portion control” or to eat in “moderation” (both are forms of restriction). It’s just easier to grab a meal or snack that’s ready to go. If I need more food, I am fortunate to have more accessible to me and I just eat more. Other days I might not be as hungry.⠀

🍿I made this graphic with popcorn because ever since I started sharing my homemade popcorn in posts and stories, portion size has come up a lot in the comments.⠀

🙅🏻‍♀️Portioning our food for meal prep doesn’t have to be about trying to control how much food is eaten (which is the way most people on IG do it). Portioning meals and snacks just makes it eating food easier and more accessible. 💯 Less dishes, less time, less stress, less overthinking it, less work.⠀

👉🏼While this definitely doesn’t apply to everyone (unfortunately) for most of us, there is more food available when we need it. It’s ok to eat more if you’re hungry. It’s ok to eat less some days. We aren’t robots and every day is going to be different! Embrace it. Don’t fight it.⠀

👈🏼👈🏼Swipe left for my popcorn recipe!! *oil for popcorn: I find it’s best with coconut or avocado oil which don’t burn as easily, but I’ve used olive oil and butter with success too.⠀
