We’re in the heart of cold & flu season, and if you’re like me, you’ve probably already dealt with yourself or a family member coming down with one of those ?? Fruits and veggies don’t always sound super appetizing when you’re getting over being sick, so a cold glass of nutrient filled “juice” in the morning is a great way to get nutrients in and the cold temperatures may feel good on any lingering sore throat issues. Here’s what’s in the glass pictured here… * 1/2 cup @floridaorangejuice * 1/2 apple * 1 large carrot * 1 Tbsp ginger * 1 Tbsp turmeric * 1/2 cup frozen mango * 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
Just throw it all in your blender and let it run for 60 seconds. This nutrient filled glass of juice provides loads of vitamin C, vitamin A, iron, potassium, fiber, and unsaturated fats, all of which play crucial roles in helping your immune system function at its best! How do you deal with a cold or the flu?
