Celebrating FRIYAY with this creamy bowl of vegan mac and cheese with a side salad ✨ This mac + cheese is SO easy to whip up in a few minutes, which is perfect for me when I’m working hard to get everything done before the weekend 💃🏼.
To make 👇🏼: Whisk together in a bowl 1 cup of plant based milk + 2.5 tbsp of flour. Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add 1/2 tbsp of vegan butter or oil. Once melted, add the flour and milk combo. Whisk in the pan until thickened, then add 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard, a pinch of salt and pepper (to taste), 1/4 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp of onion powder. Once mixed together, pour over pasta of choice and enjoy! 💛
