Here is how I recommend overcoming restriction ?

1️⃣ It starts with your mindset. Before you even do anything different with food you need to tackle the way you think about food. Self-talk is huuuuge here! Work on viewing it neutrally and not as “good” or “bad”.

2️⃣ Work to eat enough food overall. Do this before you move on to focusing on stocking your house with the cookies, chips, etc. This is imperative! (and something most people skip over!) skipping over this will likely lead you to bottomless binges. Working to refuel your body after restricting to get strong hunger and fullness cues will help you be able to eat those foods you fear in more comfortable amounts and lessen binges.

3️⃣ THEN once you’ve refueled that bod’ and it’s no longer crying out for nourishment then move on to breaking your food rules. And do this in a stepwise systematic way, not all at once. Breaking all of the food rules you’ve ever had in one shot is typically too overwhelming for most people. And kinda feels like ?
