Ideal Calorie Intake

Ideal Calorie Intake

CALORIE SWEET SPOT
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How many calories to eat is a common question (thanks ladies @jalynnbyers @squat_me_brenne @tamarabramley).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unfortunately there is no magic number. It depends on your age, gender, weight and weight goals (loss or gain), basal metabolic rate (BMR), health status and physical activity level. With so many factors influencing calorie intake, the answer ends up being very individual.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you think understanding this more might help you relax about what you eat, a Dietitian can help pull all of these factors together to determine an intake level that is individualised to you and your goals.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Calorie counting can become all consuming and is difficult to sustain and while I do not recommend it long term, it can be good to do short term to help you understand the calorie density of foods and impact of portion size
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So see a Dietitian to work through this with you if you think it will help. ??

Well, well, well, ladies and gents, do I have a treat for you today. Picture this: you’re flipping through the pages of your favorite newspaper, sipping on your morning coffee, when suddenly you stumble upon a gem of a column all about the latest craze in town – TikTok challenges.

It seems like every Tom, Dick, and Harry is getting in on the action these days, from dancing to lip-syncing to downright bizarre stunts. But hey, who are we to judge? After all, who could forget the infamous “taste test challenge” where people blindfolded themselves and tried to guess what food they were eating? Talk about a recipe for disaster!

And let’s not forget about the classic “flip the switch challenge” where participants magically swapped outfits in the blink of an eye. Now that’s what I call fashion on the fly!

So, if you’ve been feeling a bit bored lately and are in need of a good laugh, why not hop on the TikTok bandwagon and give these challenges a whirl? Just remember – laughter is the best medicine, even if it means embarrassing yourself in front of the whole world. Cheers to TikTok, where the only limit is your imagination!
