The main reason I don’t post typical breakfast bowls often is because I’m not a fruit person. I’ve always been a savoury girl so I find it very easy to not eat things like cookies, chocolate and many of the other sweet things that people have a problem giving up. I feel that if I have to post breakfast bowls daily, I’d be going out of my way to buy items that I really didn’t want just to show you a pretty photo and honestly I’m not about that life. Organic fruits are not exactly cheap either. So for those of you that keep asking why I don’t post breakfast bowls, that’s the honest reason. Oh and I’m not into pancakes either. My kids love them, but I don’t. You will typically find me eating grains for breakfast. Although these days I’ve started eating oats in the morning sometimes with berries and other times without.
I enjoyed this simple bowl of Bulgur wheat and chickpeas with mushroom & green peppers.
