So this all escalated really fast ? @chancythevegan and I had a debate on which pastry is better… croissant or scone… we took it to the IG story “polls” and whole croissants won ? chancy was pretty bummed and wouldn’t quit talking about scones all day so I caved. We made some, perfected the recipe and here are the 7 simple ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 tsp salt
7 tbsp vegan butter (113 grams)
1/2 cup cane sugar
1 Chia egg (1 tbsp ground chia +3 tbsp water)
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 vegan chocolate chips (@sunspirechocolate )
