I actually went back to do a double-take and, nope, it wasn’t a satire, it was legit “advice”.

Oh my GOSH there is so much wrong with the “fat” VS “fit” breakfast.?

1️⃣ no one meal can make your body more “fit” or more “fat”
2️⃣ this is entirely fat-phobic to a huge extent
3️⃣ some people might only have access to the foods on the left. So are they just, like, not supposed to eat in fear of getting “fat”? (again, fat phobic)

Are these breakfasts the same? No. ?♀️ Absolutely not. They won’t give your body the same nourishment. They won’t nourish your soul in the same way. They’re not the same but one is ❌ not ❌ morally superior to the other.

The key to having a healthy relationship with food, to becoming an intuitive eater, to not having food rules, to finding “balance” is to view food neutrally. Not as “fat” or “fit”. Not as “good” or “bad”.
