Not so basic salads! ? These are a few of my fav’s ? Looking forward to getting back to making my own meals after a quick trip to Toronto and eating out for the past few days!

◾1) Pick a Green Base – Usually go with romaine lettuce, spring mix, or field greens ? Like adding spinach or arugula also
_
◾2) Add Protein – Most often use boneless skinless chicken breast (prefer it marinated and grilled), also like shrimp or ground turkey (especially for taco salads) and sunny side up or hard boiled eggs ?

◾3) Carb Up – To make a complete meal like to add a complex carb. My go to is roasted sweet potatoes ? with rosemary, olive oil, garlic & pink Himalayan salt

◾4) Healthy Fat + Dressing – Avocado is what I use most ? then add fresh lemon or lime juice and toss it all together. Also like olive oil and balsamic vinegar with some dijon mustard, pink salt, garlic & black pepper! –
