Shooting for 1200 calories is NOT a good idea. ?♀️ Honestly, it’s the nutritional needs of a toddler. ??When you try to follow that and wind up binge eating? Yeah…. Not your fault. ?♀️It’s your body trying to save you from the starvation it thinks is happening. It’s trying to “stock up” energy from food for later. ❤️The problem is not you, it’s not a lack of willpower. The problem is the 1200 calorie goal.

Not only is binge eating likely a result but becoming obsessed with tracking and calorie counting is so so common. ? I remember sneaking off to the bathroom in order to log my food when I was having dinner at a friend’s house. I remember having zero idea what I “could” eat unless I was looking at the app. ?So sick and twisted!

Another thing that happens when you eat way too low calorie? Your hormones get thrown off. ?Period irregularities can happen at ANY size. You don’t just have to be “underweight” to have a loss of period or irregularities.

The better option? Stop counting. ❌Stop counting the calories, the macros, the points… whatever it is! Do it today. I know it’s hard as crap but it’s possible to be free of it. ?
