Your plate YOUR business.
.
Comparing your plate to what others have on theirs is futile because ?
.
1️⃣ they have a different body that has different needs
2️⃣ you likely don’t know everything they’ve eaten before
3️⃣ you likely don’t know everything they might eat after
4️⃣ you can’t see if they’re in mental anguish/restricting/struggling in their relationship with food
5️⃣ it can cause you to not listen to your own body. If you restrict it’ll likely lead to a binge and if you try to “match” them and over eat, well, that doesn’t feel great
.
Friendly reminder ➡️ when it comes to food you do YOU. Don’t compare your plates. You don’t need to explain why you have what you have on yours. ?‍♀️It’s your business and no one else’s. ? Simply respond with “Eyes on own plates please!” or “Yep! Sure am eating this!” or “I trust my own body”
.
