I was recently talking with one of the girlfriends in my group program and she told me she had a coffee date with her hubby ? and she ordered exactly what she wanted- a ⅓ sweet latte (⅓ the amount of syrup!) She immediately told me she felt slightly uncomfortable ordering this because, well, would people think she was restricting? ?She just didn’t like it when it was super sweet.?♀️⠀

Honestly? This broke my heart. ?Social media makes it seem like if you don’t pick the highest calorie/fat/sugar thing to eat, you’re “doing it wrong”. Girlfriends? Big PSA here: THAT’S NOT TRUE!?♀️⠀

What matters is that what you order if truly what you want. That YOU are making the decision for that satisfys you, not your food rules. ?? Sometimes that’s a full fat peppermint mocha and sometimes it might be a skinny. Neither of these choices are bad and you shouldn’t feel guilty about getting what you like best.?⠀
